I have experimented with Google Docs, Google Maps and even Google Book Search.
I already use Docs in school and have found it to be a sensational tool, especially as many people can be working on a live document at the same time. It's great to see the reaction of students who mare adding comments to then know that the teacher is up to speed and can tell exactly who has made a comment.
We also use it for our teachers to add items for the daily memo. So much easier.
When setting agendas and minutes for meetings, now everyone is automatically in the document.
Google maps is quite a fun tool. We are planning a holiday to Ireland, England and france. Using this tool I can see the village in France where we will be staying. It also helps with driving and planning itineraries.
Not that I am a great reader, but Book Search has sharpened my skill in looking for particular texts. Even better, it can refine the search and pin point what I was looking for. It would normally have taken a lot of time to do this without any promise if a result.
